History
Attorney Clifford Robinson is a native of Rensselaer, Indiana. He graduated from Rensselaer Central High School in 2005 and was awarded the Jasper County Lilly Scholarship. Cliff attended DePauw University where he majored in Spanish and received minors in Political Science and History. Upon graduating from DePauw in 2009, Cliff attended the Indiana Robert H. McKinney School of Law and graduated in May 2012.
Following law school and passing the Indiana bar examination, Cliff served as a law clerk for the Honorable Michael S. Kanne of the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Thereafter, Cliff worked as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Indianapolis in both the Civil Prosecution and Litigation sections. During his tenure with the City of Indianapolis, Cliff was designated to handle employment litigation for the City, including administrative hearings, dispositive motions, trials, and appeals. In October 2016, Cliff began a second clerkship with the Honorable Larry J. McKinney of the United States District Court of the Southern District of Indiana. Upon Judge McKinney’s untimely passing, Cliff joined a mid-size firm where he focused his practice on commercial and estate litigation. Finally, in December 2018, Cliff set out to start his own firm in his hometown of Rensselaer, Indiana.

Cliff has experience in a variety of legal fields and has represented clients in both state and federal court. His experience working for two federal judges, the City of Indianapolis, as well as a mid-size law firm provide him with a breadth of legal knowledge that he uses to best suit clients’ needs.
Cliff resides in Rensselaer with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, fishing, and reading historical fiction.

Liz Nuss
Liz is a legal assistant for the firm and assists in, amongst other things, communicating with clients, preparing and filing pleadings and estate documents, as well as scheduling appointments. Liz is fluent in Spanish and assists in translating when necessary.
Liz is from DeMotte, Indiana and enjoys traveling with her family and coaching her children’s many sporting activities.
